If the ribbon appears undamaged, the issue might be with the printer's ribbon drive rollers. These rollers are responsible for feeding the ribbon. Check if they are clean and properly aligned. They might need to be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth. A failing roller can also cause this issue, requiring professional repair.
