How do I clean the print heads on my HP LaserJet 1010?

The HP LaserJet 1010 has a print head cleaning function. Access this function through the printer's control panel (usually by pressing the 'Menu' button). Follow the on-screen prompts. You can also manually clean the print heads with a lint-free cloth and distilled water, but be careful not to get water inside the printer.
