Why does my Dymo LabelWriter 4XL printer keep feeding labels excessively?

Excessive label feeding can happen if the printer isn't properly calibrated. Try calibrating the printer by holding down the form feed button for a few seconds until it starts cycling through the labels. Make sure the labels are correctly detected. Also, ensure that there is no obstruction present in the printer's paper path.
