An IP (Internet Protocol) address is a unique numerical label assigned to each device connected to a computer network that uses the Internet. In a DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack, attackers flood a target server with traffic from multiple IP addresses, overwhelming its resources and making it unavailable. Free IP addresses are not a viable solution, as they are often temporary, unreliable, and cannot effectively mitigate a DDoS attack.
