I'm using a self-signed certificate on my origin server. Can I disable TLS on the Tunnel to avoid certificate issues?

Disabling TLS is *not* a recommended solution for self-signed certificate issues. Instead, configure Cloudflare to trust your self-signed certificate by adding it to your origin certificate list. This allows Cloudflare to establish a secure TLS connection with your origin server without disabling TLS entirely.
