This indicates a communication problem. Even if the printer is listed, Windows isn't able to connect to it. Double-check the printer's status in the settings – is there an error message? Try removing and re-adding the printer. Uninstall the printer driver completely, then reinstall it from the Canon website. A corrupted printer profile might be causing this behavior.
