l'Afrique du Sud
During a reorganisation of the Bantu Education Department of the government, the South African apartheid government decided to vote for a law saying school lessons would only be taught in Afrikaans, rather than in English or any of native African languages. Teachers and students disagreed. Many teachers themselves did not Afrikaans and so could not teach the students. The students didn't want to be cut from their culture.
merci d'avance.
